I got offered a job today for Midland Brick as a Sales Advisor in their Ideas Centres and Yards, starting at Joondalup but hopefully ending up at Myaree. 20-25 hours a week...and it fits in really well with Mega. It's great. I start in a couple of weeks which gives me some time to adjust my sleeping patterns a bit.
It's kinda funny, there was a job that I thought I wanted...but this one is even better. My expectations have been exceeded and I LIKE IT!

Just Out Of Interest...
There was some discussion tonight on how people eat icecream cones differently ie. licking, biting, from the bottom etc. So just out of interest...how do you eat yours? For all you Lurkers Anonymous members here's your chance to get some commenting in.

Job Hunting
I spent a big chunk of today searching for a job. I want to keep my Mega job but I need something to make use of my mornings/early afternoons and weekends for like 12-25 hrs/week. Plus the summer holidays are coming up so I need work for then. If anyone knows of anything going around Garden Cityish please let me know. For now I'll just apply to a crapload of places.

Short Attention Span
I'm bored. My attention span is about two seconds long. I slept until 2:00 this arvo. Bad move. So now I'm edgy and not tired enough to sleep. My body is hungry but I don't feel like eating. Meh...this is lame.

Currently Digging

I discovered Edison Glass last week after reading an online review that isn't scared to tell the truth about christian music. I went and bought their debut album "A Burn or a Shiver" today from Koorong. They've got sort of a younger, more emo MAE thing going on, I'm not usually into emo but this isn't annoying whingey emo so it's cool. I'm really loving this album. Guitar parts are great! I hope they stay together and look forward to seeing them grow as a band.

I Did Stuff

I just got back from Margaret River. I got a very good amount of rest in. I went to bed early just like an old person. We went and saw the Mammoth, Jewel and Lake Caves, Candy Cow, Margaret River Chocolate Company and Eagles Heritage. Clare was right, the fairy floss from Candy Cow IS bigger than your head! It was fun. The weather had trouble making up its mind...very annoying...but it was all good.
The Super Exciting Adventures Of Nippy: Part 3

Yes I know it's been a long time coming, but here it is.
Nippy came to Margaret River with Jane and I, and he went cave exploring. He was all decked out with his hard hat ready to go, but it turned out that he didn't need it coz the cave was all safe and stuff. Then he got his virtual guide set up and went exploring. What excitement!
SessionSixty: Margaret River Edition

Now I'm not sure if this sessionsixty actually counts as I got so caught up in taking photo's that I completely forgot to change the iso...dun dun dun. I'm not entirely happy with the framing on these shots but I think I had a better idea of how the colours would come up in greyscale so there's better definition happening.
