Am I Crazy?

I'll be out every day next term...Am I crazy to think I can do it without burning myself out? I'm doing some serious pondering at the moment.
I feel exhausted just thinking about next term. I guess my only reason for doing so much is the money, that's probably not a good enough reason.

Hey crap-detectors, what do you think?

Woozy

Today I have eaten:

A Custard Shell (donut thingy with custard inside)
Coconut Drops (little coconutty cake thingys)
A bit of a Chocolate Donut Man
TNCC Snakes
A Tim Tam
Allen's Chicos
Starburst Gummies
Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate
Red Rock Deli Lime and Black Pepper Crisps
A McDonald's Cheeseburger

I'm pretty sure that's it. I feel gross. My body is angry at me for filling it with junk. I am sorry.

My Leg Is Asleep

I tried to go to sleep but I was hungry so I got up and ate.
I've been sitting funny so my leg's gone to sleep. It feels strange.
Now I am thirsty.
Now I'm not coz I went and got some water.
Oww now my leg has pins and needles.
I figured out I have taught 96 lessons at Mega this month.
We only have another two weeks of youth this term.
I'm going to try to disappear for a week in the holidays.
We drained my water bed today. Bye bye water bed.
My cat likes pizza.
I think tomorrow's going to be a good day.

More Sunset

I went down to the beach to take pics of the sunset tonight. It was a pretty good sunset.

Sorry about the lack of postage since last Saturday, I haven't really had anything worth saying.

Leaves

The leaves outside Riverview are really breathtaking this time of year. I've been looking at them over the last few weeks as they've been changing colour. It amazes me that one leaf can have the capacity for so many different colours, and that there can be so much diversity on one tree. The sun shining through the leaves in the afternoon is quite a sight.

Human individuals really don't change colour much. I wonder if it's because God knew that if we could change colour drastically then we'd just take the leaves for granted. Maybe he just doesn't think we look very good bright green...or red...or purple...or orange. Hmm.

More Stok-edness

Starting next term I will no longer have to get up at 8am on Saturdays! SOOO GOOD! I'll be starting work at 12 so I can stay out after youth on Fridays and not be dead the next day. I'll also be working Thursdays too. I'm going to be teaching up to 35 students every week.

That does mean though that Saturday is the only night I can stay home, which is a bit lame.

So within a week I've gone from working two days a week to four days a week, and starting later on Saturdays.

Again I am stoked! and feeling very blessed.

Aussie Aussie Aussie!

Ha! We won a game!

I'm looking forward to seeing how the socceroos go against Brazil. Can they put up a fight?

The Moon

Now here's something you don't see every night. Last night the moon had a halo. It was pretty hard to get a decent shot of it. This will do.

I'm Stoked!

I just found out that I've scored an extra day of work each week, so now I work Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. This is a huge blessing to me as it will give me an extra day's worth of income. It's perfect timing as I have finally gotten used to the intensity of teaching, so the thought of another eight students a week is not so daunting. Yep I am stoked!

Creativity

Isn't it strange how creativity comes and goes. You can have days, weeks, months and seasons of inspiration: "creative diarrhea or projectile vomit" and then you can have periods of complete blankness.

Where does our creativity come from? Why does it come and go? Is it my brain that governs my creativity? Does my spirit have anything to do with it?

I also tend to feel creative in only one area at a time. If I'm in the zone when it comes to songwriting then I probably won't be when it comes to drawing or some other form of expression.

Do you find that too?

Sometimes though I just feel completely blank. Sometimes I feel like I have so much creativity trying to get out of me all at once that I'm going to burst.

Green Tea Mango Mantra

I'm sitting here drinking Boost. It is very good.

I finally figured out how to change the header on my blog...I am quite proud of myself.

My Cat

This is Puss, my cat. He has been a part of our family for the past 14 years.

On Wednesday night he went almost completely blind. His pupils were fully dilated, one eye had gone red and he was quite distressed. He was walking around the house bumping into stuff. It was really sad, and I started to get worried that he was going to be completely blind.

We prayed for him and the next morning he was fine, which was a huge relief. That night though he was blind again, the next day he was fine again. We concluded that he was night blind, but kept praying for him.

Tonight he is completely normal. His eyes are fine.

Now I know some (or most) of you can't give a rip about my cat, but he's important to me and God knows that. Thankyou God for hearing my heart.

Testing...One...Two...Three...

I went test driving cars with Sarah today...well Sarah drove and I was there. We took three cars out. It was pretty fun.

Ummm...I think that's all I've got. My brain's a bit fry-ed
